Tony
Magee is an event producer, music and theatrical agent and
entrepreneur based in Canberra
Australia.
His company, Tony Magee
Creative Events, traces its roots back to 1982, as part of the
production team for the Australian launch of Sony’s then new and
revolutionary Compact Disc system at Kent HiFi Canberra for
owner Rudi Langeveld. Our client was CSIRONET, followed later
by the general public. Since that time, his
company has grown with a dedicated and talented event staff, as well
as an artistic database of over 1500 performers,
both national and international.
Tony and
the team are now firmly established as a leading event production
company in Australia, holding government and
corporate contracts, particularly focusing on conference event
production, which sees him in all capital cities and regional
centres around Australia, as well as involvement in
events in Beijing, Hong Kong and most
recently Kuala
Lumpur . Tony’s selection process for quality
entertainers and key note speakers for the conference arena has
earned him a reputation for honesty and integrity, combined with
fairness, in the entertainment world.
Tony
Magee is also one of Australia’s most outstanding cabaret
pianists and is sought after as accompanist to many of the leading
cabaret artists in Australia . He has played
for Toni Lamond, Geraldine Turner, Su Cruikshank, Bronwyn Sullivan,
