Tico Tico
The sensuous sounds of
Brazil
as well as the
coolest American style jazz are recreated by this excellent duo
ensemble featuring Cicilia Kemezys (flute, vocals) and Steve Scott
(guitar). Both have travelled widely and spent
a great deal of time in Rio de Janeiro studying
the music of Brasil, where they have also recorded
several albums. Specific repertoire includes the music of Antonio Carlos
Jobim,
Luiz
Bonfa,
Brazil
66 as well cool
jazz and swing standards. The group can be made up to trio size with
the addition of congas. Classy and sophisticated, Tico Tico are
ideal for corporate style dinners and cocktail

The
combination of clarinet and accordion is a superb musical union and
in the hands of these two master musicians the sounds come truly
alive. Tangos, waltzes, sambas and musettes are just some of the
styles on offer here. It is continental music at its finest.
Anton Wurzer is one of Australia’s
foremost exponents of the Piano Accordion, working professionally
from the age of 15 and has performed widely in theatre, cabaret and
as a session and orchestral musician across a myriad of genres
ranging from classical and continental to R’n’B and jazz.
